Special Called Meeting

A special called meeting of the officers, unit offices and all members was called by President Bobby “Ice Bucket” Miller.

The Meeting was held at Hella Temple in Garland, Texas.

The purpose of the special called meeting was to discuss the following: Changes to the rules and regulations for the Conduct and Judging of Competition and Mid-Winter.

The meeting was called to order by President Bobby “Ice Bucket” Miller at 2:05pm. Invocation was given by Parliamentarian Donald “Little Bit” Henson. Pledge was lead by Bobby Miller.

The following units were represented at this meeting, Hella, Maskat, Alzafar and Sharon.

President Bobby Miller opened the meeting by thanking Hella for the use of their facility and for hosting the special called meeting, and thanked everyone for their attendance.

Sec/Treas Jim “Hot Rod” Wells read the Rules and Regulation changes to be made to Article II Section 4 A. Changes were to separate Happy Hobo/ Hobo and Tramp competition.

Floor was open for discussion. Motion was made to approve the changes by Billy “Shadow” Neimeyer Jr. and seconded by W. R. “Toby “ Clayton. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

Sec/Treas Jim “Hot Rod” Wells read the Rules and Regulation changes to be made to Article II Sec 5 D. changes were to take out the Paradeability.

Floor was open for discussion. Motion was made to approve the changes by Donald “Little Bit” Henson and was seconded by Chuck “Cheetoe” Hudson.

President Bobby Miller then spoke in general about Mid-Winter.

Sec/ Treas Jim “Hot Rod” Wells addressed the information needed from anyone who was intending to run in the line-up for 2011.

President Bobby Miller opened the floor for any further discussions. A motion was made by Chuck “Cheetoe” Hudson and seconded by Mike “Moose” Junkins to make a donation of $100 to the Sneaker fund for Barbie.

Donald “Little Bit” Henson gave the closing benediction.

There being no further business a motion to adjourn was done by Mike “Moose” Junkins and seconded by Chuck “Cheetoe” Hudson
